Nocellara del Belice
The Olive “Nocellara del Belice” is a particularly large and tasty olive, which is produced from the homonymous cultivar in the “Valle del Belice”, mainly in the area between Menfi, Santa Margherita di Belice, Montevago, Castelvetrano, Santa Ninfa, Gibellina, Campobello di Mazara, Poggioreale and Salaparuta.
It is a dual-purpose olive and excellent oils and excellent table olives are produced with it. Harvested at the end of September, it produces an extra virgin olive oil with an interesting aroma and a particularly intense and full-bodied taste, fruity and with hints of tomato, the “Valle del Belice DOP”, the “Val di Mazara DOP” and the “Valli Trapanesi DOP”. It is recommended for roast and vegetable side dishes, both raw and cooked. It is also one of the oils with more polyphenols (340 mg / kg).
It is packaged in “dorica” type glass bottles of 0.250 liters, and 0.750 liters and in metal cans of 2.00 liters, 3.00 liters and 5.00 liters for the marketing of extra virgin olive oils in total safety and hygiene.
