Extra virgin olive oil “Light for children”is extracted from olives “Biancolilla” collected only from olive groves of our property that we grow for a whole year to make them produce olives of the best quality and suitable to give an extra virgin oil at very low acidity. The land, with certification “DOP Val di Mazara” and in the IGP area, are located in Menfi in the districts “Abate” and “Feudotto” with certification “DOP Val di Mazara” and in the IGP area.
The“Light For Children”oil is extracted from the cultivar “Biancolilla” with an acidity that does not exceed 0.20 and to make it more digestible is decanted and filtered.
Our extra virgin olive oil “Light for children“, added raw (especially up to 2 years of age) in the first creams, soups and other food:
- helps to make the body better absorb fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K;
- it protects the mucous of the intestine and reduces gastric acidity and is very useful for counteracting constipation by regulating all intestinal functions. Among other things, it is also useful for body growth, for bone formation and for the development of the nervous system;
- rich in omega 3, really essential to improve brain function, for cellular composition, to develop neuro-psycho-motor actions and for the structuring of the retina.
Conservation: The sensory characteristics are maintained, for as long as possible, unchanged, keeping the product at a temperature between 15 and 20 degrees, away from heat, light and oxygen sources that accelerate its oxidation. It is advisable not to transpose into oils that speed up the oxidation process.
